Swakopmund Architectal and Historical Heritage

Swakopmund is rich in Architectal history, dating back to the period from 1884 through 1915 when Swakopmund was the main port for the area. With German South-West Africa as a German Protectorate, a very strong German influence can be seen in the architecture and fortunately the buildings have been maintained and preserved very well.
