It's not at all surprising, as this is exactly what makes us all individuals, each with their own
desires, wishes and dreams.
However, very few do NOT have a dream of creating something really special! We do already
realise that our wedding day is going to be something special - something we will treasure for
most of our lives. But, there is always that absolutely human trait to have something totally
unusual, something that we know that not many people, if any, had ever thought about.
This is also very Natural, but unfortunately the idea is more often than not, "nipped in the bud"
because of the other, much greater, Natural trait - FEAR! Fear of the costs involved, fear of
the unknown, and fear that we will simply wake up & discover - IT WAS ONLY A DREAM!
Don't fall into this trap! Make sure that whatever happens in your future life, you will always
have the treasure of your wedding day and Honeymoon to lean on. For years to come, even
if photographs may have become faded or worn - MEMORIES REMAIN!
We at Southern Skies - Personal Safari Hosts are as aware of all these facts as you are. That
is why our Weddings and Honeymoons section of our African Safaris have a different look and
feel than all the others - they ARE different.
Obviously we are also aware that both Weddings & Honeymoons involve only two people. Thus,
our approach is totally different to the way in which normal holiday safaris are handled. We pride
ourselves on our personal service to ALL our guests on ALL our safaris - how much more
attention would we not afford our Honeymooners?
Because of the above, we are NOT going to present any ideas or samples of weddings here in
Namibia. Each bride and groom can work out their own wedding by contacting us.
What we will include, just to whet your appetite, are a few Honeymoon itineraries as samples
of what previous couples had compiled, plus just a few photographs of some of the weddings
which took place in the Namib Desert. There are many other options, these are simply guests
who wished to have their wedding in one of the best known Natural Wonders of the World!.
