express purpose of being as close to Nature as possible - yet comfortable and secure

GENERAL OVERVIEW

This accommodated nature safari - offered as an independent travel option (self drive), will only be possible with a minimum booking of two guests. It will start in Windhoek, and end in Windhoek 14 days later. En-route you could visit the Etosha National Park; search for the desert Elephants in Damaraland; photograph & enjoy the antics of the Cape fur seals of the Skeleton coast, plus the experience of viewing and climbing the highest sand dunes in the world at Sossusvlei.

This entire journey will be fully accommodated, albeit sometimes in fixed structures, and other
times in permanent tents or rustic chalets, affording you the "feel of the African bush" without having to camp. In between, you have the opportunity to "lose yourself" amongst the treasures of the Earth, which could include a visit to the largest mineral crystal cluster, ever unearthed to date. For the more energetic, Swakopmund offers optional adrenalin activities. (Not included in the quoted price).

Our minimum of two guests is merely a suggestion, as a single person will have to carry the full costs of car hire and fuel - non variables, and have nobody to share either the costs, or the experience with. But, should anybody wish a solo self drive, we shall not ignore such a request, simply us, and we shall work something out, together.

The prices above include all accommodation venue costs with advance reservations guaranteed;
rental of a small sedan vehicle (For 5- & 6 guests, a second vehicle is necessary - thus the slight
increase in total price). But . . with 5 / 6 guests, the additional expenses such as fuel and oil are
shared amongst more people. (Accommodation: 9 Nights on B&B basis + 4 nights self catering).
NOT included in the quoted prices are the fuel used; meals - except for the 9 breakfasts; permits
& entry fees; activities you might decide on, and return airfare to and from Namibia.
