DAZZLERS

A 14-DAY LUXURY SAFARI FOR ALL WHO CRAVE THAT MUCH
NEEDED BREAK-AWAY. A MEASURED MIXTURE OF NEW AND
EXCITING PLACES - A BITE OF CIVILIZATION WITH A TOUCH
OF WILDERNESS - IN COMFORT, LUXURY, AND AFFORDABLE

    GENERAL INFORMATION

This safari is only possible with a minimum booking of 2
Guests, departing from Windhoek & ending in Windhoek
again, 14 days later. Because of the luxury train journey
included, the safari is totally dependant on the scheduled
times & thus dictates that guests must arrive in Windhoek
on either a Thursday, or a Tuesday - the reverse direction.

After meeting your host at Namibia's International airport, transfer to Windhoek for a quick tour
of its sights & sounds. Settle into one of the four-star Hotels in Windhoek. After a hearty meal
and a good night's rest to recuperate from your flight & to acclimatize to Namibia, you will depart
from Windhoek in a leisurely manner - aboard Namibia's luxury train, The Desert Express.
This is an overnight journey with dinner and breakfast served on the train.

During your entire safari you will be accommodated in some of the very best establishments and
visit a combination of venues both in civilization & out in the wilderness. Places of great interest
& places of indescribable beauty; treasures of Nature & natural phenomena to sooth body & soul,
and view African wildlife in their natural habitat.

While experiencing true Africa, why not have a good laugh at some of the comical actions of
our Cape Fur Seals at the largest colony on any mainland in the world? After all, you have four
nights' stay along the Atlantic coast? From the Seal colony, a whole new world awaits you! Join
an excursion into the Hinterland to visit a 400 year old, petrified salt lagoon; experience one of
the richest Lichen fields you could imagine, and view the notorious Skeleton Coast from the air
on a pleasure flight (Fly over Damaraland and the Brandberg - highest mountain peak in Namibia
- as far as the mouth of the Ugab River, and return to Swakopmund along the Skeleton Coast.
While in Swakopmund, you may browse German-colonial shops and architecture; experience
the utter desolation of the Moon landscape or stand in awe and respect next to the oldest living
plant specimens on earth - the Welwitschia mirabilis. Before departing from Swakopmund, you
will meet the wild Seals and Dolphins along our coast on a chartered Catamaran Cruise. Towards
the middle of your safari, enjoy a respite from travelling & spend 2 glorious nights in the middle
of the last true wilderness in Africa. Apart from being a photographer's paradise, you have the
opportunity to be doted upon with Aroma therapy massages & Reflexology (being something
of personal choice, this is NOT included in the safari price - costing between N$200 to N$350
per session). You may even have a chance encounter with Namibia's famous Desert-adapted
Elephants, or simply wallow in a natural, sulphur-free hot spring - the choice is yours!

End your luxury African safari with the last night in an early 19th century, German castle. Dine
with the lights of Windhoek at your feet, while viewing the setting sun being invited into the folds
of the distant Khomas Hochland on the horizon.

Five Guests maximum travelling together 31290/person/safari OR2235 / person /day

Our emphasis on a maximum of 5 guests, is NOT a restriction on number of guests per safari,
but determined by the seating restrictions on small aircraft. Should there be more than 5 guests
wishing to travel together, more hosts and vehicles will be employed, and a re-calculation done
for an additional aircraft. Groups thus divided, will still be able to travel together as one group,
but in multiple vehicles and with more hosts. Our reputation was earned on personal service
to guests,
not effectively possible with more than six guests per host.
