NATURIST'S
DESERT
ADVENTURE
(The
best of both worlds) |
 |
SAMPLE
ITINERARY
(A
few photos of popular venues)
|
DAY 1
|
Meet your host at the airport on arrival. Transfer to a
comfortable B&B facility on the outskirts of our Capital
City, Windhoek. Here, the afternoon will be spent to relax
from your long flight until it is time for a dinner. (This
is a non-Naturist's venue). |
|
DAY 2
|
A
leisurely breakfast before travelling along the perimeter
of the Khomas Hochland, our central highlands,
towards the edge of the escarpment. Enjoy the view, then
descend into the desert and continue towards your first
naturism campsite. From the moment of arrival at this
secluded venue, you are free to follow your Naturist's
lifestyle to the full, starting with a sundowners drive to
explore your new environment. |
|
DAY 3
|
An
early morning, non-naturism excursion today to view and
climb some of the highest sand dunes in the world at
Sossusvlei. Return to your camp after lunch. |
|
DAY 4
|
A
nature hike and farm drive is in the pipeline for you today
- besides cooling off in the dammed-up, natural fountain.
(Even open, bush showers could be enjoyed). Final day of doing whatever you have not managed thusfar -
swimming, hiking or whatever. (Maybe start looking for
that mislaid sarong, just for travelling in). |
|
DAY
5
|
Cross
over from the Namib desert in the west, to the Kalahari
desert in the east today. Your first venue where naturist's
horse riding is also possible. |
|
DAY
6
|
Activities
are all determined by the guests themselves. |
|
DAY
7
|
Although only a farm dam is available for swimming, it is
still a welcome sight for cooling down during the hottest
part of the day, or after an enjoyable horse ride through
the Kalahari scrub. |
|
DAY 8
|
A
drive towards the orange-red, linear dunes of the Kalahari
will afford you and excellent view of the Kalahari
contrasts. Either azure blue skies, set off against the
dunes, or a sunset where the dunes and sky blend into a
kaleidoscope of orange and crimson hues. |
|
DAY
9
|
Look for
those sarongs again, it's travelling time! Return to the
summit of the central highlands.
From the moment of arrival at this secluded venue, you are -
again - free to follow your Naturist's lifestyle to the
full. |
|
DAY
10
|
Here,
you may enjoy a swim any time, 24 hours a day, go on Nature
walks and hikes, join a wildlife viewing drive or go
searching out wildlife on horseback when you feel like it.
There are no fixed meal times, you eat when you are hungry
and sleep when you are tired. |
|
DAY 11
|
No clothing - other than protection
against either cool nights or hot days - are required.
This holds true for all activities and meals - the entire
venue is at your disposal. |
|
DAY
12
|
A
final day of doing whatever you have not managed thusfar -
horse riding, swimming or whatever. (A sarong will
unfortunately not do for traveling this time). |
|
DAY
13 |
Unfortunately, even a safari such as this has to come to an
end some time or another - today you have to return to
Windhoek. We'll make it as gradual as possible, your accommodation
tonight will be at a Game Lodge en-route to the airport.
Those who feel up to it, join a nature drive for a final
glimpse of our sunset on this, your last night in Namibia,
Africa. |
|
DAY
14 |
Subject
to flight departure time, you may have the entire morning
for short nature walks, or simply laze on a pool chair and
view wildlife at the waterhole. Transfer to Namibia's International
airport to arrive in time for your departure flight. |

Because we no longer
coordinate individual enquiries into one safari, but consider each enquiry
as a booking on its own, we have decided to include prices for single persons
travelling in one
group with couples - or maybe children. There are no single supplements
applicable, our prices
remain a per person rate, subject to number of guests per group.
