Camping accommodation in Namibia vary considerably, not the sophisticated camping sites of South Africa or Europe, but they do offer the self drive, self catering visitor something special - atmosphere and the back-to-basics experience! Due to the fact that most of the venues in Namibia are built on farms or at remotely situated venues, the self drive enthusiast will generally enjoy an experience close to nature - even when accommodation is in a self catering unit.

This year, for the first time, self catering facilities are automatically included into the system of this site, together with the normal camping option. Meaning that, self drive visitors may now decide for themselves where and when they want to make use of whichever of the two accommodation options is available in Namibia.
