For 2010 we have 183 accommodation venues
listed, these include both camping sites and self catering
facilities - automatically. In addition, any
visitor can also request alternative fixed accommodation
in
all or some of the areas visited.
Camping in Namibia vary considerably, not the
sophisticated camping sites of South Africa or Europe, but they
do offer the self catering visitor something special -
atmosphere and the back-to-basics experience! Due to the fact that
most camping sites in Namibia are built on farms or remotely
situated accommodation venues, the self catering
enthusiast will mostly enjoy a camping experience close to nature.
This year, for the first time, self catering facilities are
automatically included into the system of this site, meaning that,
visitors may now decide for themselves where and
when they want to switch accommodation types to enjoy a short
break from camping.
